Femme de Champagne Rosé de Saignée 2008 expresses the power and elegance of a Grand Cru Pinot Noir, characterized by exceptional freshness and length.
The 2008 Femme de Champagne Rosé de Saignée is a luminous champagne with a deep, dense pink hue, enlivened by bubbles of extreme finesse. Made exclusively from Grand Cru Pinot Noir grapes from the Bouzy terroir, this exceptional vintage combines great richness with remarkable freshness. On the nose, it reveals delicate aromas of grenadine and Mara des Bois strawberries, offering a complex, fruity, and indulgent bouquet. On the palate, this wine stands out for its long, vinous intensity and impressive structure, lingering into a savory finish of great elegance.
This prestigious cuvée is the result of a collaboration between Carol Duval-Leroy and our Cellar Master, Sandrine Logette-Jardin, showcasing a level of craftsmanship unique to Champagne. It embodies the House’s commitment to producing expressive wines that remain true to their terroir, using the demanding saignée method to achieve a color and sensory profile of absolute purity.
The grapes come from family-owned vines aged 35 to 45 years, cultivated using sustainable practices certified by HVE. The winemaking process emphasizes minimal intervention, with natural clarification and very limited use of sulfites, in order to preserve the incomparable brilliance and authentic character of this Grand Cru.
Renowned for its high standards and expertise, Rosé de Saignée regularly receives accolades from the most prestigious international critics and competitions.
